1 Day – Arrival at the “Mother Teresa”, the international airport of Tirana and transfer to hotel, accommodation in Saranda. Welcome cocktail, dinner and accommodation in hotel.

2 Day – Breakfast in hotel and free day to enjoy the sun, the beach and the long sandy beach of Golem or the pool sited in the shadow of the pine tree. Lunch and dinner in hotel.

3 Day- Breakfast in hotel and departure to visit the archeology site of Butrinto (World Heritage of Humanity- UNESCO). Drive to the site of Butrint, the Albanian archeological buttonhole flower. Butrint dates back to the 7th century BC and according to Virgil it was founded by Helenus, the son of the Trojan King Priam. The Greeks made Butrint a major fortified commercial city (the acropolis ruins are still visible). Its fortification from the 6th century BC evokes all the military power of the city and is a symbol of a rich culture and an important and flourishing city. It then became an important Roman colony. Later it fell under the dominion of the Venetians and Turks lost over the centuries its importance began to decline. The city (partly excavated only) is a very important microcosm of almost 3,000 years of Mediterranean history. The visit to the site of Butrint is provided with an official guide of the archaeological site and it takes about two hours, including a visit to the precious antiquarium (museum). Lunch in a restaurant. Return in hotel in afternoon for the last swim in the sea for the day. Dinner in hotel.

4 Day- Breakfast and relaxing day on the beautiful beach and / or in the large pool overlooking the bay and the island of Corfu. Lunch and dinner at the hotel.

5 Day – Visit to Gjirokastra (World Heritage of Humanity- UNESCO). Departure from Saranda to the city of Gjirokastra (Argirocastro was its name in antiquity that mean silver fortress and the city shows clearly the meeting of the cultures Greek, Roman, Byzantine Turkish and Albania) visit of the old city, shopping in the traditional and artisanal bazaar, visit to the castle on the slope of the hill and to the National Museum of Arms. Lunch in restaurant with traditional menu. In the afternoon departure to the natural monument a karsts spring named Blue Eye. The deepness of this spring is over the 100m and is a mystery its generating sources.

6 Day – Breakfast in hotel and free day to enjoy the sun, the beach and the long sandy beach of Golem or the pool sited in the shadow of the pine tree. Lunch and dinner in hotel.

7 Day – Breakfast in hotel and free day to enjoy the sun, the beach and the long sandy beach of Golem or the pool sited in the shadow of the pine tree. Lunch and dinner in hotel.

8 Day- Return to the airport in Tirana

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • More than 45 days before the scheduled departure: there is no cancellation fee except bank charges incurred for reimbursement;
  • From 45 to 15 days before the scheduled departure: 50% deposit refund;
  • Less than 15 days: 100% cancellation fee.

To enter in Albania serves only valid identity card or passport.

The tour is scheduled to arrive in Tirana airport in the evening and departure airport for Italy in the evening of Day 8. In other case you will have to re-program the first and last days.
